Bob Soutier, head of the Greater St. Louis Labor Council, says that politics – not policy – is the driving force behind the latest debate.

“There are wealthy funders of both Tim Jones and the Republican Party that are attempting to have a hand in Missouri politics and bring less skilled, less qualified workers to this state,” the labor leader said.

Here they come again!

The Missouri Legislature is back in session and Republicans still can't stand workers having any power.

And now, for something completely different...

Come to the Labor Temple on Monday, January 13 for an interesting Labor Club meeting.  The Rev. Rudy A. Pulido is working with labor, church and faith leaders through out Missouri.  Rather than the usual business meeting, this will be an interesting look at unions and churches organizing for justice together.
